74 Lime Lane // more bunting thank yous

One of the most popular posts on le blog has been the bunting thank you card, and every now and then it gets featured somewhere and has another popularity spike and one or two request come in for new colour ways.

And I think, why not.

This time, I’ve made up a navy and lime version ~ can’t believe I didn’t think of that before ~ and a pink and orange version, inspired by Curlypops. Whenever I see pink and orange I think of Cam. I also went with a different font this time, to mix it up a bit.

I like navy and lime

I like pink and orange

on appreciation {#reverb10}

Appreciate. What’s the one thing you have come to appreciate most in the past year? How do you express gratitude for it?

You know sometimes you have to remind yourself to say thank you. That’s what I’ve discovered about my self lately. It’s easy to take things, and people, for granted. I think it is important to say to that person who has done something nice for  you ~ your partner, your friend, a parent, a child, the person who moved aside for you in the street, the person who let who in with your one item in the checkout queue ~ thank you, and say it like you meant it and are grateful for that small measure of kindess.

Taking some liberties, these are the things I have appreciated this year:

  • The support of a fantastic husband
  • Funny and understanding children {“Is that for your website?”}
  • Time to do the things I want to do
  • Good health to do the things we want to do
  • Support from my community

And I hope to all and everything, I have at least expressed my gratitude in some form.

Thank you.

{prompt #14 ~ #reverb10}

in the neighbourhood: thx thx thx

One the things I love about the blogosphere {apart from the reams of inspiration and all the wonderful and creative people you meet}, is the gratitude. A lot of people are thankful for what they have, even when doing it tough, thankful for their creative gifts, and some share the gratitude in different ways. At least once a day there comes a reality check from my list of daily blog reads that reminds be to be thankful.

Yes I know, I know, the point. This blog is about being thankful, for the big and little things. Leah Dieterich shares a short thank you note every day ~ thankful for everything from yellow highlighters to the lovely lady I never met.

It’s a lovely daily reminder that there is a lot to be thankful for. And it was via another lovely blog, Kind Over Matter, that led me to Thx Thx Thx.
